About Me

My photo
Helen Harden
United Kingdom
For four years I was the chemistry lead on the Best Evidence Science Teaching project. During this time I read hundreds of chemistry education research papers, seeking student misconceptions about chemistry. I am keen to share insights from the research literature that I have read to help bridge the gap between research and classroom practice. I am currently a freelance curriculum specialist and resource developer working on both international and UK based projects for organisations such as the the Royal Society of Chemistry, Cambridge University Press and Assessment and LEGO Education. I am an active member of the Association for Science Education and was Chair of the Association from 2022-23. I can be found on LinkedIn at linkedin.com/in/helen-harden-0739a324a and on Bluesky as @helenharden.bsky.social
